How to read a lighting spec sheet
A lighting page is a set of five numbers that decide whether a head belongs in a Florida outdoor bag: correlated colour temperature, colour-rendering scores, illuminance at a stated distance and beam, operating temperature, and how it eats power. Aputure’s LS 60d page is complete enough to use as a worksheet. Substitute any other maker’s sheet the same way.
The five lines, in order

CCT. 5600K on this sheet
Correlated colour temperature. 5600K is daylight-balanced. A bi-colour head that can hit 5600K can match Florida sun; a 3200K-only head cannot without gel, and gel costs output.

CRI and TLCI. ≥96 and ≥98 here
CRI is a still-photography colour-rendering index. TLCI is the television lighting consistency index, aimed at cameras. Aputure also prints SSI (D56) of 72 for this fixture. High nineties on CRI/TLCI is the broadcast-adjacent band; SSI is the stricter spectral score. Read all three if they are there.

Lux at a distance and beam
Demand a table, not a single “brightness” adjective. The LS 60d gives spot 15° and flood 45° at 1, 3, and 5 metres. 54,300 lux at 1 m in spot is a marketing-friendly peak; 1,096 lux at 3 m in flood is the talking-distance fill. If a sheet only gives lux at 0.5 m, the number is not comparable.

Operating temperature
LS 60d: −20°C to 45°C (−4°F to 113°F). July’s mean maximum at Orlando International is 92.0°F, inside that lamp window, near the edge of Sony’s 104°F camera window. A sheet without an operating range is unfinished for Florida.

Power and weather
Output wattage 60 W, max draw 90 W, NP-F dual plate, D-Tap 12 to 16.8 V, weather-resistant head. A live bag cares whether full output is possible on the batteries you actually carry, in a climate whose July normal is 7.46 inches of rain.
